July has been very hot and fun!
Xander got his first official buzz cut this summer. Between the sunscreen and sweat his mohawk just wasn't making it, so we decided to go short while the weather was so warm.
We had a fun picnic with our Pray n Play pals to celebrate Independence Day. Xander is trying to decide which color cup cake he wants...blue of course, it's his favorite color and the most messy to eat.
He looks adorable no matter the hair style.

We grilled burgers with the Bruce's and then went to watch the firework show @ Mission Hills.

We met the Wangrycht's at the park and the kids had a blast running around and playing before the firework show.

Nike is always open for cuddles, but Gandalf is usually a bit more tentative. Today was an exception to the rule. I guess G$ didn't want to miss out.
If you look closely in all the pictures that Xander is laying on both of the dogs, Nike has her arm over Gandalf to keep him from rolling over on Xander. She's protecting him like any good Momma dog would do.
They laid like this for most of "Frozen".
Xander was content until I asked him if he would like some popcorn.

We took the dogs for their walk in the desert and discovered a beautiful rainbow. Xander is blowing bubbles of course.

I love this! I was making breakfast and when I turned around Xander had lined up his cars on the road on his train table all by himself. They were all facing the same direction. Clever, clever boy!
