Brooke's Summer Visit

BrookeLynne came to visit us during her last few weeks of her summer break while Karen was receiving radiation treatments in Lubbock.  This was her first time flying by herself. The day she was flying in, Kevin was flying out for a quick trip and was able to meet her at her gate.

He brought her to baggage claim and we met her there to take her home.

Xander helping Brooke get settled in her room. Oh and trying on her cool shoes too!

Nap Time

Light Saber battle!

Bath Time

Back to School Shopping

Xander thinks you should ride dogs and hug everybody. Even fake people!

He was very patient while BrookeLynne shopped.

Loving on B @ lunch.

Cheese- burga!

Pool Party w/ the Danes

Awe!

Play Date with the girls.

We filled up an entire bag of water balloons and had a great time popping them.

Brooke coordinated her and Xander's outfits every day she was here. Lol!

He enjoyed having his cousin to play with.

He loves racing!

So cute!

He is so happy in this series of pictures. Lol!

We went swimming, but Xander stayed in the pool long enough for me to snap these two pictures. I think the water was just too cold for his liking.

We also took him bowling for the first time too.

He was so cute, but not very interested. He wanted to run around the bowling alley instead.

Aren't they adorable in their matching shirts?

Woo-Hoo!

Stinker!!!

Sleepy boy holding B's hand.

Yup!

Making brownies is her super power!

Leaving them on the counter in a home with two Great Danes is her Kryptonite! Lol!

We had planned to do a photo shoot of Brooke & Xander to get some good pictures for Grandparents, etc.  Xander wasn't very excited about that idea. Lol! He just wanted to run and play, not pose for pictures.

Brooke is such a beautiful young lady.

See what I mean? Snot, tears, red cheeks, kind of miserable!

Sorry Brooke! You were a much better model. Lol!

I really like this one, minus the street light in the background. Ha!

We almost got the train in the picture B! Ha!

Awe!

We managed to get a few good shots without him crying.

More tears!

This is my absolute favorite from the day! Bahaha!

Pitiful!

@ least Brooke wasn't crying!

After the torment of picture taking was over, we went to the splash pad to play. Xander was much happier here.

The next day we went to the Discovery Children's Museum with Maris & Sophie.  Thanks for taking us guys! We had a great time!

I love the lady photobombing you! Geez!

The water room is definitely Xander's favorite part of the museum. I always have to pack him a change of clothes because he gets soaking wet.

Now that's a cute pilot!

After the museum we made our way to the strip to go swimming at the Monte Carlo Resort.

This was Brooke's favorite!

Xander was exhausted after our busy day.

Giddy Up Nike!

Stank face!

Cat Woman!

Craigslist find: Just needs some TLC.

Blocks and cars with Daddy.

We toured some model homes and Xander loved this lego toy chest. This is such a cute idea.

I put Brooke to work sanding my table. She was interested for all of 5 minutes. Lol!

National Clown Week: Share a Smile Day

Xander and his buddy Vaughn at a play date with our group.

Hello Miss Southern!

Different Day = Different Pool

Thanks Aunt Karen for the most annoying toothbrush in the history of ever.  It sings, "Here comes Peter Cottontail, hopping down the bunny trail. Hippity hoppity, Easter's on it's way." Over and over and over again.

We had a very busy week and 1/2.  Then we packed Brooke up and sent her back to her folks, who were eagerly waiting for her in Lubbock. Hope you had a great time Brooke! We love you guys!
