A Few Extra Stories

I totally forgot to look at my reminder about what to write in the blog. So I don't forget,  I'm going to go ahead and just post another one. I'll have to get a picture or video of Xander to fully appreciate this. He is definitely not a binky man. He makes the funniest face when I try to give him one. It's of utter disgust and completely adorable. He is like, "what the heck is this nasty thing? "

Last weekend we had our first diaper explosion. I won't go in to great detail, but lets just say he was sitting in his car seat and poo went all up his back and all over the carseat. A quick shower and XI was good. It took me over an hour to get the carseat ready to go. Nasty!

The next shot is of Xander playing in an exersaucer for the first time. He still isn't quite tall enough but he enjoyed it for about 30 seconds. Lol!

This video clip is classic X-Man. He is having fun and then all of a sudden WHAM not so much! Pitiful.

The other night while I was working on the last post, Kevin was playing in the living room with Xander. Xander was having fun with his Daddy and then Kevin lifted him up and he saw me across the room. The couch was blocking his line of sight. When he saw me he let out a loud noise like he was saying "hey you." Kevin then lowered him back down behind the couch and boy did he get upset. He started crying, tears and everything. Kevin lifted him up and he immediatley stopped crying and was smiling and happy. Lowered again, cried again, lifted, happy. You get the idea. Kevin was having fun teasing our lil' guy. Momma had to rescue him. He is good with Kevin until he see's me, then he wants me. Kevin says it because I'm the "Lunch Lady". Regardless,  X-Man loves his Momma! :0)

He fell asleep holding his toes. Too funny!

Gandalf isn't allowed on the quilt, but he tries to sneak in as close as possible.

Thanks for the Teddy Bear CC! Xander really likes it.

CC also found X-Man some swim trunks and rash guards. They are so cute! I think my swimsuit model is pretty adorable too! Tons of Fun! Now,  if we can just find a pool.  We will be swimming in Las Vegas soon with Erica and her family. Hopefully, be swimming in the Bahamas some time in the near future.  Xander's passport came in today. Yay!

While we were at Bible Study the other night, I was nursing Xander in Kenzie's room and noticed she had some rather hip lullabies playing. Rockabye Baby, is lullaby renditions of some of the most popular artist. The music ranges anywhere from The Beatles, to Green Day. I had to get Xander some to listen to, they were just too fun. Plus, fun for me to play name that tune at bedtime.

All Belly... All the Time

So last week Xander started rolling over on his belly.  Now, he is officially a pro. XI is on his belly just about every chance he gets. He even sleeps on his belly. The picture below was the first night he fell asleep on his belly without waking up crying about it. The little stinker kicks his covers off as soon as possible.

This post has a lot of pictures of him sleeping. He is just so sweet when he sleeps and when he is awake. :0) He is very photogenic. I just want to squeeze him! I thank God for him every day. He is such a wonderful addition to our world.

Nike and Gandalf watching TV. They were very interested in what was going on.

Xander loves chewing on his bath toy. Is it a fish? Is it a cow? Who knows, but it does moo and it has fins. He especially likes sucking on the eyeballs once they are wet.

This is what he looks like after his bath. Clean. Dry. Fresh Diapee. Dressed. Fingers. Milky. Snuggles. Kisses. Bed.  Little dude has been sleeping from around 7 pm to 6 am every night. AWESOME!

Can you see his 2 teeth?

He was asleep when I took this shot. He looks pitiful. Awe!

Kisses from Nike.

Sup Dog?!

Kisses from Xander. I think he was trying to suck on her face. Lol! She didn't seem to mind at all.

Zerberts from Daddy= Happy Baby Boy

Hey There Mister!

I love this "CERTIFIED HUNK"! Kevin says Chunk, and our pastor thought it said punk.

He enjoys looking in the mirror.

Cute, cute, cute!

Random annoying fact about New Jersey. You have to pay to use the public beaches. Every beach has a different price too! So annoying. You have little high school kids walking around asking for your beach badge. Nazi's make you pay or leave the beach.  You can buy summer, week, or day passes, but you have to go to the same beach every time. Boring. I want to explore all of the different ones. Also, there are NO POOLS around here. It's 100 degrees plus. I would love to take Xander swimming, even indoors. Ugh! He loves the water. Come on Garden State what gives?

Xander was holding on to his rubber ducky when I was taking him out of the bath the other night. He stuck it in his mouth and took his hands away. Then the duck got stuck and it scared him. Funny, but sad. He was fine as soon as I got the ducky from him.

Such a sweet sleeper.

You can see his USA diapees through his onesie.

This is a nightly ritual. Not sure if you can tell, but Gandalf is on the other side of Kevin. Ridiculous mutts!

I drew these pictures on canvas and then colored them with markers. I 'm trying to decide if I want to put them up in his room. I need to go back and paint them though. Isn't he quite a lil' ham for the camera?

Awe! So sweet! Kiss. Kiss. Kiss.

21 weeks old and oh so adorable!!! Here is another canvas I painted. Just for fun. Maybe his room? I don't know.

I'm trying to get accustomed to this whole stay at home mom thing. I love being with Xander 100%! It's just very different. Kevin seems to be enjoying home cooked meals and clean laundry etc.etc. I've got a goal for at least one new recipe a week. Any suggestions? Love and miss you all!

Roll Over

This has been a big week for our little man. He has mastered the art of rolling from his back to his tummy. The second you lay him down he immediately flops over to his belly. He looks like a baby seal. He can hold his head up very well and for long periods at a time. However, rolling back over seems rather impossible at the moment.

He loves spending time with Daddy when he gets home from work.

He gives the best kisses!

My sleeping tiger! WAR EAGLE baby!

Xander enjoys watching Daddy play Call of Duty. Lol!

Sporting his cute overalls for church. Such a sweet boy!

Tummy Time!

X is getting ready for the summer olympics. Go Team USA!

Our Gold Medalist is tired from all his rolling.

He usually covers his eyes when he sleeps and always has those fingers in his mouth.

He fell asleep face down, it was so pitiful.

Then he figured out how to turn his head a bit so he could breathe better. I think that part scares me the most with him rolling around. I don't want him to roll in to a position where he can't breathe. I'm constantly checking on him at night. Besides, he wakes up terrified and starts crying when he realizes he has flipped in his sleep. Mommy is pretty tired this week. I will be happy when he figures out how to roll back over.

Daddy's Little Hero!

He's smiling because we are going to eat steak @ Outback. Yummy! I'm smilling too.

X loves bath time.

We went grocery shopping the other day and Xander was so sweet. He just checked everything out and grinned at me. It is his telltale sign he is exhausted when he starts sucking on his fingers, then he crashes.

He wakes up so sweet, that is, as long as he is on his back.

"Rubber ducky you're the one"

"You make bath time lots of fun" X will chew on anything you put within his reach. His teeth seem to bothering him quite a bit lately.

He definitely has found a way to self soothe.

Such a cute little monkey!

I love these little piggies!

XI is 20 weeks old! Where does time go? Really?

He is getting more comfortable sleeping on his belly during the day. Night time...not so much.

So kissable!!!

So chubby!!!

This picture cracks me up. I made this to hang in Xander's room to keep track of how much he grows.  When my Mom saw it, she asked if that was a baby doll in the picture. Lol! No it is Xander, but now that I look at it. He kind of looks like a doll.

He looks more life like grabbing his toes!

My DIY giant tape measure didn't turn out exactly like I was hoping, but it makes for a fun addition to Xander's Dr. Seuss nursery. More pictures to come, once I finish his room.

It's colorful and will look cute in pictures at the very least.

His cuteness just makes my heart melt.

Bananas Over Mommy!
