6 Months Old Already

It is hard to believe our little guy is already 6 months old. Seriously! Where does time go? He is growing so fast. We are SO in love with this boy! It's hard to imagine what life was like before we had him. What did we ever talk or blog about? Lol.

XI has four teeth now. You can see the top ones if you look closely. He has 2 on top and 2 on bottom and it appears 2 more on the bottom will be coming through shortly.

He loves trying to get my phone. He already knows iPhones are awesome!

X-Man playing with Sophie, his giraffe.

Sweet boy asleep on the couch! Don't worry I'm with him.

I couldn't help but think of my nephews Joss and Emit while we were eating these Lightning McQueen sugar cookies. They would love these. I must admit they were yummy!

Isn't it funny how little things like cookies or coffee mugs or songs or days can make you think of people you love? I am grateful for so many wonderful memories of my Papa and Nannie, who both had August birthdays. I have fond memories of cookouts and pool parties up on the "hill". I miss them dearly.

Xander is getting really great at jumping in the exersaucer! I think we are going to have to raise the height on it. He can catch some hang time when he gets going.

He plays hard and then crashes when I rub his feet or legs. Always touching Mommy though, just to make sure I'm still there.

"Hey Xander!"  I swear he says hey back to me in his on way, or at least he is trying too. He has such a cute voice. It just makes my heart melt.

He is such a wiggle worm at night. He always ends up on the opposite end from were I lay him down, completely turned around. He usually squirms his way into one of the corners. I guess that makes him feel safe. He still manages to always kick his covers off too.

Kevin and Xander at church, I love how the sunlight is glaring off their bald heads. Lol.

They were adorable watching tv on the floor together.

Kevin is acting like XI here. :0) Xander has started turning his head every time Kevin tries to kiss him. I think his facial hair tickles XI. I think it hurts Daddy's feelings though, little stinker.

Sleeping cutie!

So far Xander's favorite baby food has been green beans. He makes some funny faces when he tries something new. He gets very excited when its time to eat! He is like his Mommy, he gets Hangry when he needs food. Hungry and angry, and quick!

Precious boy!

Xander likes his Twilight Turtle. He was giving it kisses here and I couldn't help but laugh and the tiny stars on his face.

I was loving on my 6 month old. He giggles now when you tickle him.

For his 1/2 birthday I tried to get some cute pics of him all naked with one of Kevin's ties on. He looked absolutely scrumptious, but he thought the tie was for him to chew on. So that did't work out so well.

Next, I took some shots of him without the tie.

Doesn't he have such a cute lil' toosh?

Then I thought I try to get some pics of him on the mirror. Here is kissing his reflection, playing and just staring. My baby boy is completely adorable!

Tired from all that playing. I lay the pillow or teddy bear beside him so he doesn't feel so alone.

Time to play again.

Can't you tell he is having fun?

Tired, but hungry. Not a big fan of bananas. He gags when we try to give them to him.

This morning we played for about an hour and I had my head laying on the Boppy and he crawled over to me and fell asleep on it with me. I love play/cuddle time in the morning. I had to get up to take the picture, but I would have loved to been in this picture with him, it was such a sweet gesture. I love this boy so much!

Two bigger babies! Lol.

He really enjoys playing with his spoon.

Poppy & CC are coming to visit soon. We can't wait!

No Back to School

It's odd, but wonderful not going back to school. All my teacher friends are getting their classrooms ready, going to inservice and preparing for their students. Not this Momma and I couldn't be happier! Shout out to my Sugar Daddy Kevin Riggan! Thanks for working so hard to take care of our family. I love you babe!

As I mentioned in the last post I have started the INSANITY workout. It's killer! I'm proud of myself though. I have almost survived week one and getting started is the hardest part. I can't do the whole video yet or go quite as fast as Shaun T, but I'm a work in progress. Thank you Olympics for inspiring me. I'll have to take a video of Xander watching me do INSANITY. He kicks his little legs super fast like he is trying to work out with Mommy.

He plays in the exersaucer for a little while each day and that really wears him out.

XI really enjoys sleeping on his belly.

Playing Peek A Boo!

X-Man can fly! Thanks to Photoshop.

Sooooooooo adorable!

Checking out the birdie above his head.

He is such a peanut when he sleeps.

 Sucking on those fingers!

We are slowly introducing new foods. XI is not a big fan of squash!

 Classic!

He enjoys oatmeal, until he gets tired that is.  We think he is going to be right handed, because sometimes Kevin will hold his right hand while we are feeding him dinner so he will stop trying to grab the spoon or his bib and he won't move his left hand to put in his mouth at all without his right hand. It is pretty funny.

XI does this cute little fake cough to copy you. I am so in love with this little guy!

Just chilling! :0)

I love his sweet chubby legs!

It is so fun watching him learn new stuff everyday. He is so smart already. We are teaching him sign language. It will be fun when he starts signing back to us. We started brushing his 3.5 teeth too. That 4th tooth is taking its time breaking through.

He is just too sweet.

Gandalf sneaks up on the couch every chance he gets. Rotten!

Karen this picture is for you! She bought X-Man a Rangers tee!
