Texas Trip 2012

Playing catch up on our blog. After our Bama trip Xander got very sick. We even had to go to the Emergency Room for a high fever. He ended up having Roseola and a double ear infection. We stayed at home and just rested up for our upcoming trip to Texas.

Before we took off to the Lone Star State, I wanted to make sure his ears looked better and XI had to get caught up on his vaccinations.

He loves the paper on the doctors table. He tries his best to eat it. Praise God his ears were better and he was good to go. It is such a helpless feeling when your baby is sick.

He got two shots and two bandaids, however, when we got home a bandaid was missing. You guessed it, it was in his mouth. He tried to eat it too! I swear he is going to give me a heart attack trying to eat everything!!!

We met Kevin at the airport in Philly after being a part for about a month. We were all happy to see one another.

We were rolling a ball back in forth making Xander laugh. We even had a lady ask if she could watch us play because Xander was so cute. "Of course you can watch our adorable baby show off! Lol!"

Crawling around during our delayed lay over in Denver.

XI was fascinated with all the people.

Tickle Xander!

Finally we made it to Fritch after a very, very, very long day. Xander enjoyed playing with Kirby & vice versa.

This was right after Aunt Karen kicked him in the head. Lol! She was actually trying to keep him from falling.

Great Grandmother Riggan was so happy to finally meet Xander!

BrookeLynne was never too far from Xander. I'm pretty sure she adores her baby cousin.

Cheese!

Grandmother & Kevin (her favorite grandson)

So sweet!

Grandmother fell asleep on Kevin's shoulder.

Kevin followed suit.

Sleepy boy!

Playing with Aunt Karen.

Cuddles with Grandma!

Campfire time...

Karen getting a sunburn via campfire. Hilarious!

Cinnamon chilling with Kevin. He is a very sweet dog.

Grandma, Xander & Sophie.

Sweet kisses!

Great Grandmother, Grandma Wendy & Xander. Wendy is still trying to decide what she would like X-Man to call her.

He is so adorable when he sleeps.

Grandma agrees!

The whole crew!

Playing with BrookeLynne

Playing his drum! HEY!

Bunny ears X-Man!

Sitting outside enjoying the pretty weather. Xander loves being outside!

Muah! Muah! Muah!

Great Aunt Helen & Xander

"Why is everyone looking at me?"

Spin the bottle...

Nap time.

                                                                    Well almost...

"What is he doing?" "Wake up!"

Xander really showed off this trip. He sat up for the first time all by himself, he crawled with his belly off the ground, and even started pulling himself up to stand up. Where is my baby going? He is growing so fast. I love this little guy so much! I think the Riggan crew enjoyed getting to see some first with us this week.

Kiss, kiss.

Showing Grandma how to use her walker.

Smores! Yum!

Smile!

We had a great trip! Xander was pretty wore out after another long day of traveling.

He recovered quickly though and was raring to go the next morning.

He loves boxes!

He loves blocks!

He loves Momma!

Unreal! He thinks he is big stuff now. I'm tempted to put a helmet on him to keep him from getting hurt so bad. I know it's coming. He is fearless.

Eating dinner with his buddy Geny.

Picking out a pumpkin with Daddy.

Ringing the "Dog Warning Bell" @ least that is what we call it. We have pictures of me and all of my cousins as babies ringing this bell with my Papa holding us. Keeping the family tradition alive. Awe!

XI loves trying new food. He is getting better at feeding himself every day. It is a very slow process, but he is so cute!

Ride 'em Bumbo!
