April 2014

April was every busy. I still have one more blog to add for April, Kevin's Nascar Rookie Experience. Coming soon.

We got the SWAGon!

Xander helping me vacuum.

The only puddle for miles around and he finds it. Lol! You can see the dogs running in the background.

Team Riggan Nap

We have found a wonderful Meetup group. We meet up with other Mom's and kids at different places all over the city. This particular day we went to feed the ducks at Sunset Park.

X-Man wasn't quite sure what to think of all these crazy birds.

Goose photo bomb!

I think the birds scared him a little, so he climbed up in his stroller to finish feeding them. I don't blame him one bit, they can get a bit aggressive. I was doing my best to keep them away from him.

This made me feel better too, I din't have to worry about him getting so close to the water and falling in.

He is so sweet!

The weather has been very nice, so we try and spend lots of time outside. Xander loves going to play at splash pads and parks. Pretty much if we are outside, he is one happy little dude.

I LOVE this picture!

Painting Easter goodies for the fam.

Our neighborhood had an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids. It was crazy!

X-man ran around and played while we waited for the egg hunting fun to begin.

He was fascinated by the cones. Xander moved and shuffled them around for a good 30 minutes.

You can tell when Xander gets hot. He gets a red stripe down the center of his forehead.

Time to rest a minute.

I love the shot with all the eggs in the background. Aren't those cheeks so yummy?!

He was getting impatient waiting.

I guess I'm old fashion. I like to have to hunt for eggs. This was more like a race for eggs and try not to get trampled in the process. Regardless, XI had fun.

This was one of my favorite pics of the day. We just got all of his eggs in his basket and he shook it as hard as he could. Silly goose!

He had fun shaking the eggs and checking out what was inside.

We had to dye eggs again this year, because he had so much fun last year. He was dancing because he was so excited.

Once I got everything set up, I let him go to town. He remembered exactly what to do. He is so stinking smart!

He did get a bit over zealous and was putting more than one egg at a time in each cup. Look at that concentration.

His fingers were green for a few days. Ha!

X-Man makes everything more fun!

All dressed for church and wearing my shoe.

Sweet boy!

Daddy & Xander

Nap Time!

He didn't open his Easter basket until after his Nazarene nap.

EGGS!!!

Eating candy!

God love him!

We went outside to do an egg hunt just for Xander and once he realized the eggs didn't have candy in them he wasn't interested in picking them up. What a character?!

He decided running and picking up sticks sounded like more fun!

Some other kids were having a water balloon fight and gave Xander one. He squeezed it and played with it until it popped all over him. He didn't mind one bit.
Now he loves water balloons!

Cutest wet T-shirt ever!

Brooklyn hung out with us for the week while Brenda went to Alabama. Xander enjoyed having a buddy all week.

We took Brooklyn to feed the ducks too.

Xander decided he would rather eat the crackers than give them to the ducks.

They had a ball playing in the sand on the volleyball courts.

See the airplane?

He looks like a big boy ready to play in the AVP in this picture.

Brooklyn finally got Xander to hold her hand in the car.

Racing his cars.

Modeling Daddy's hat.

Riding Nike!

Eating his first ice cream cone.

He ate the cone first.

Love this boy!

Such a sweet sleeper!

Drinking water from a bowl like the dogs, no worries it was a clean bowl.

When in Rome!

Playing at the mall.

Riding the train with Daddy.

Sleepy boys!

Birthday cake for Daddy.

Watching toons!

So adorable!

Silly!
