Warning this post has lots of pictures! I am playing catch up. If the title seems odd, it is. This post has a little bit of everything. We've all been a little under the weather the past few weeks, so that is my excuse. Hope you enjoy!
Xander will be walking soon. He is awesome walking with his puppy dog toy!
He loves spaghetti, but always gets very messy when he eats it. It is so adorable to watch!
My little tiger all bundled up for a cold walk.
Sleeping shot! His onesie says 50 % Daddy+ 50 % Mommy= 100% Brillant!
More spaghetti!!! I think he gets as much in his lap as he does in his mouth.
Made in NYC & so cute!!!
Baller!!!
Shot Caller!!!
We we're # 11 @ Chick-fil-A. LOL!
I lined up his stuffed animals and asked him which one he wanted to sleep with. Being the genius he is, he immediately crawled over to the seal pup. I bought this for him last summer while we were at SeaWorld with KDB (Karen, Doug, & BrookeLynne).
He loves it's whiskers. He crinkles his nose up, because they tickle him. It is so cute! I'll have to get some video for sure.
This was the first time I ever baked a turkey and was solely responsible for Thanksgiving dinner. Mom, coached me up so needless to say it was yummy. I thought I took some more pictures of the final place setting, but alas I did not. We did record X-Man eating some grub though. It was a quiet day with just the three of us, well, five if you count the mutts. We are very blessed! I wish we could get our whole family together some time for Thanksgiving, we had leftovers forever, TOO much food for just us!
We went and got our tree Thanksgiving weekend.
Xander was very excited when we were setting it up.
He even wanted to taste test the tree.
Apparently Douglas Firs are yummy!
Showing off again.
We finished decorating the tree after we put Xander to bed. He was soooooooo excited the following morning to see all the lights and ornaments. It was so fun watching him crawl over to the tree and explore. He is going to have a blast CHRISTmas day!
I put lots of jingle bells and ornaments that won't break down low where he can play with them.
He wore himself out playing so hard. There goes his fingers! Rockin' Around the CHRISTmas tree is hard work peeps!
The next day we went to NYC with Kevin for the night. We got to stay in the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. It is one of Kevin's sites. He had to show a prospective client around, so he needed to be there early, so his company put him up for the night. A mere $700 a night! Yowza! So we took a trip to NYC, thank you American Tower. LOL! The Macy's parade decorations were still out.
Xander loved looking out at all the lights. Talk about sensory overload. He was such an angel!
Riding in the very cool elevator with Daddy.
Times Square
He is fascinated with mirrors and being able to see his reflection.
This is one of my favorite shots from our trip. We didn't really get to enjoy being outside much, it was raining or snowing most of the day.
The coolest elevator system ever!
Nap Time.
Once Kevin finished up with his meeting, we took Xander to meet Santa at Macy's on 34th Street.
The time of day we went was perfect! Absolutely NO LINE. We literally walked right up to Santa.
Xander was not a fan of Jolly Ole' Saint Nick!
Xander crashed when we got home after our little trip to the Big Apple.
So sweet!!!
He really likes beans too, however, black beans are extremely messy.
We went shopping with Kay & Kenzie and I put this cute elf headband on Kenzie. Isn't she a cute little elf?
XI playing with a big truck from his cousins.
He thinks everything is to help him stand up, even things that roll.
We all started feeling pretty lousy that night and have been sick since. You can tell looking in his eyes he doesn't feel so hot. Still enjoying his spaghetti though.
Daddy & G$
Mommy & Xander
Poor baby, we had to take him to the doctor twice. Fever, nasty cold and an ear infection. Xander hates medicine, he literally throws it up no matter what kind you give him. The doctors actually had to give him a shot for his ear infection and now I have to give him Tylenol suppositories if he needs Tylenol. Oh well, it beats the heck out of getting him so upset and making him throw up.
He was so feverish, but all he wanted to do was cuddle with me and sleep. Not going to lie, that's all I wanted to do too.
I do enjoy the paintings at Brighton Pediatrics.
Poor baby!
Kevin got us a star since we couldn't find our angel. It looks perfect on our tree.
Sweet, sweet boy.
They are hard to see in this picture, but we have some cardinals that hang out in the tree in our front yard almost every day. We enjoy watching them play. Can you see the red one and the brown one?
Eating some Puffs.
He sees himself in my iPhone screen. He is grinning so cute!
I LOVE this boy!!!
SDC!!!!
Play with the stuffed ornaments CC sent. They have yet to make it on the tree. He drags them all over the living room.
He is so my boy!!! Look at those squint eyes!!!
I pick this mess up several times a day. He thinks it's his job to pull everything off the shelf, out of the cube, off the changing table, out of the closet, you name it! He takes his work serious.
to be continued...
