Nascar Rookie Driving Experience

I've posted most of these pictures in an album on Facebook already, but I wanted to blog about Kevin's Nascar Rookie Experience. My folks helped me surprise Kevin for his birthday this year. We bought him 8 laps in a real nascar race car. Needless to say he was pretty stoked about the whole thing. He has been working several Nascar races since he took his new job and it was exciting to be on the other side of the track this day.

Xander was really happy to be at the track and see all the cars too.

Checking out some of the cars.

They have all kinds of cool cars you can drive at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Xander was in heaven.

We waited outside and played while Daddy did his orientation class.

Xander wasn't so happy when he realized he couldn't climb in the race cars. Poor baby! It broke his little heart when he couldn't figure out how to get in the car.

He drove his McQueen all along the race track wall.

He enjoyed playing with the cones.

I was trying to get a cool picture of McQueen on the track, but Xander wouldn't sit him down long enough. Lol!

He tried his best to open every car door he could.

Once he realized we couldn't get in the cars, he decided touching and looking at them was pretty cool too.

He is too cute for words!

 SO adorable.

SO curious.

 SO serious.

He had fun checking out the tires too.

Our favorite driver!

He looks authentic.

 Too school for cool! Lol!

 My guys!

Waiting for his turn to drive fast
.

"I feel the need for speed!"

Here he goes.

On your mark...get set... go!

GO FAST!!!

Vroom...

Vroom...

Vroom..

Woo-Hoo!

He did it!

Way to go!

Remember to only drive as fast as your guardian angel can fly!

To Be Continued...
