Missouri Trip

My Mom is still unable to travel, so my folks bought us tickets to come see them again. This trip was a little more expensive because Xander had to have his very own ticket. He felt like a big boy having his own seat. He still sat in my lap the majority of the trip, but we had the extra space which was very nice. Thanks Mom and Dad. It would be much harder to come visit without your generosity. WARNING: This post has tons of pictures. Tons.

First order of business...check out the local parks.

Xander was feeling very brave this particular day going down the big slide.

 CC & Poppy look happy.

His face says it all.

So cute in his Uconn tee!

I just love this little guy!

Poppy making Xander laugh!

Trying the Gator for the first time by himself.

He liked pressing the gas, but didn't want to steer. Lol!

We all took turns spotting X-Man.

I am pretty sure I exceeded the recommended weight allowance.

Another day at a park, like I've said before Xander loves being outside. I think we brought the warm weather with us. It was pretty cold the first few days and then it got warmer every day we were there.

Having fun with CC!

Cheese!

 Playing with Momma.

Lol! His face is hilarious in this shot.

He traded toys with these nice boys. They let him play with their big green truck.

Xander wasn't so sure about Mom's puppet Jex. He was fascinated/ scared, he kept feeding him though and would run away.

"Hi!"

He is too cool!

Wearing one of my old dresses, just for a picture. Lol!

Silly faces!

 Chilling with Poppy!

Trying on CC's slippers.

 Loving on Poppy!

DJ Shuffling on the table.

Driving.

Playing with his cool kitchen set CC & Poppy got him.

 Slicing the bread.

Snuggling with CC.

Awe!

Got my hair cut about 11 inches and donated to Locks of Love. I'm not happy with it, but it will grow back, eventually.

Liz & her crew came to visit for a long weekend. It was so great to see my old college roomie. It had been about 4 years since I had seen her.

Oliver

 So handsome!

Margot's first go at driving the Gator.

Bean wanted to ride too.

Margot was terrified at first.

My adorable Captain America!

Margot started getting the hang of it.

Xander wanted to ride along.

Margot looks much happier here.

Sabine & Xander playing sweet together.

CC & Super Xander!

Looking for frogs.

 Big splash!

 Really big splash!

It wasn't easy getting everyone to smile at the same time for a picture.

Margot especially cracked me up.

I love my Lizzy!

Lunch @ Cullver's

Croaker!

It was quite a steep and treacherous climb to the top.

We made it though.

 Woo-Hoo! We survived!

Xander wanted to ride with Margot.

He wanted to press the gas and Margot didn't like that idea.

O-U-T!

 Cuddle time.

Back scratch time.

I think CC is happy?

 Baby boy swap.

So adorable.

Oliver is such a cutie pie.

CC sporting a mow hawk like Xander.

Xander didn't want to stop playing long enough to take a picture.

May the 4th be with you!

 Yummy!

Mowhawk buddies!

 Such a sweet fam-damily!

Bean holding her baby bro.

Another day at a different park.

"An apple a day keeps the doctor away!"

We didn't last long outside this day. It was really hot and the bugs were very annoying.

Xander's forehead gets super red when he is hot.

We decided to create our own fun since it was so hot!

A sprinkler, baby pool and water balloons were quite a hit.

We all enjoyed splashing in the water.

Xander loved stomping on the water balloons.

Cute little water babies.

Margot was having fun too!

Sabine wasn't so sure what to do with the water balloons.

Xander kept trying to bite them.

Bean figured out how to pop the water balloon, when it popped it startled her.

No worries, I got the balloon out of her mouth asap.

So happy!

 I love this picture!

We had such a great afternoon playing in the water with the kiddos.

Poppy & X-Man

Stinker!

Bev & Oliver

Xander resting.

Xander giving Lizzy sweet hugs.

 Swinging!

Group photo op. All the kids look miserable. Lol!

Love you dear friend!

 Love you so much Mom!

Sup Cuteness!?

Xander loves trying on glasses.

He enjoys popping water balloons as fast as I can fill them up.

 One happy little dude!

Dumplin' had fun swimming with Xander.

Play hard, nap harder!

We met Poppy for lunch at the bowling alley on post and they have an awesome arcade. Xander had a blast running around and climbing on all the games.

CC riding the motorcycle.

Classic...he is picking is nose.

We stopped by to see Poppy at his office.

Hellwo!

Sliding with Momma.

Playing at the skateboard park.

Lining up all the shoes like trains while shopping for some new kicks.

Awe! CC's favorite time of day.

More fun with glasses...

He struts just like his Daddy.

Watching toons with CC.

Roubidoux Springs

Playing in the very, very cold spring water.

CC is in heaven.

 Beautiful brown eyed boy!

 Perfection!

Two weeks goes by quickly when you are having a good time. Xander looks so stylish in the outfit CC picked out for him.

Bouncing on Poppy's knee.

We went to the St. Louis Zoo before our flight back to Vegas.

Can you see the hippos swimming with the fish?

"Ellll-e-fant!"

Watching the elephants swim was my favorite. They kept dunking the babies under water for a long time. It was crazy!

Xander enjoyed getting to pet and brush the goats.

He chased the chickens.

Played peek-a boo with an orangutan.

 Laughed at the chimps.

And then Xander fell asleep in the stroller just long enough to rejuvenate him for our flight home. Not quite the plan, but it worked out fine.

Xander sure loves his Poppy & CC!

MUAH!!!

Airport fun.

He likes watching the planes and luggage carts.

Coloring on the plane.

He got his very own set of wings. Lol!

Sleepy, but not going to sleep.

So darn cute!

 Still awake.

He finally crashed when we were pulling in to our gate in Vegas.

To Be Continued...
