Xander is Our Gold Medal

I love the Olympics! Summer, Winter, doesn't matter. I'm glued to the tv for two weeks solid. I stay up entirely too late and watch all the behind the scenes stories about the athletes. They are simply amazing! I laugh, I cry and I cheer fiercely for the USA. The P&G commercial makes me tear up every time it comes on. You know? The one where the Moms are cheering for their kids and they still look like little kids. Love it! I have a new found respect, especially for the female athletes who are back competing at the most elite of all levels shortly after having a baby. Impressive to say the least. I write all this for a couple of reasons. 1.) I am so blessed to be a Mommy. Xander is our GOLD! 2.) We haven't done much this week, mostly cheer on Team USA. & 3.) I'm starting Insanity on Monday, and I know it's going to kick my butt. I'm uber motivated to get back in to shape after watching the Olympics. Kevin and I are going to have a competition to see who can tone up the fastest.
P.S- Guess who that is on the gold medal? Yep.  NIKE! The Greek Goddess of Victory.

Xander plays in the pack n' play when I need to put him down. He can't be trusted on a quilt on the floor anymore.

Xander ate his first bowl of baby oatmeal on 8-4-12. He did great! He seems to be enjoying it, lots of adorable faces.

I ordered him a Sophie giraffe, supposed to be the #1 baby teething toy. He loves it! The dogs go nuts when he chews on it because it squeaks.

XI has been sucking on his fingers even more lately. His top two teeth are coming in.

I just love him in his turtle hat.

X-Man with Mommy @ church.

Nike loving on Xander and Xander reaching for her dog tag. The jingle sound fascinates him. Notice Olympics on in the background. :0)

Adorable baby boy!

 He is so sweet.

Yummy!

Played in the exersaucer for the 2nd time today and had a ball. Thanks for letting us borrow it Kenzie.

All the pictures turned out blurry, because he was moving so fast. He was super excited playing in this thing. He slept most of the day after he played so hard.

TO BE CONTINUED...

  1. Precious! I love the pics of him sucking his fingers! I can't believe that he already has so many teeth. Our kids didn't get them until so late. Ryan didn't get one until around 14 months old! Love reading this blog. Wish you all still lived in Bama. Here is ours in case you are bored- www.twicethesunshine.blogspot.com
