Vegas Vacation

Our Vegas Vacation started out with a super early flight from Philly to Las Vegas. It was almost a 5 hour flight and we gained 3 hours once we got their. Xander did great, but it was a very long day. The flight attendant said ,"awe that's a Kodak moment," when she walked by, so I handed her my phone and said "well can you take a picture for me?".  Obviously she did. We flew on a brand new plane both ways, that made me happy, but a little nervous too.

Xander was extremely happy to stretch out once we got there.  The girls were excited to share all of their toys they have been saving for Xander. Look how many they put in the pack n' play. Don't worry I got them out. They sent us home with a bag full of toys. Thanks you guys!

 Brooklyn wasn't going to miss out on all the fun either.

 The girls really liked having Xander around. Emma quickly came up with the nickname "Xandy" for him. They called him little buddy a lot too.

 He was pretty much exhausted after our day of traveling. Lots of naps were needed.

He discovered he can put his toes in his mouth this week. Too cute!

Getting ready for our second trip to the pool. He was a lot more playful this time, that is, when he was awake. Lol! I posted a separate blog about his first trip to the pool.

Xander was a life size baby doll to the girls. Here he is sporting a pretty pink head band. They thought that was hilarious. Got to admit, he looks cute in pink! I don't think Kevin will let that become a part of his regular attire though. Lol! They are two very smart little girls. They can even sing their ABC's backwards, their ZYX's. The girls were loads of laughs and very entertaining.

This trip was quite educational for Emma & Brooklyn. They have never been around a baby boy before and they don't remember Erica breastfeeding of course. The first night we were there, they helped me give Xander a bath. Emma says, and I quote, " His vagina is on the outside Bev!" I almost cried from laughing so hard. They were very curious when I was feeding him milky too. Brooklyn told me that the milk was in the fridge. They were great with him, they wanted to help me change his diaper, burp him, give him his teething toys and steal lots of kisses. They weren't crazy about the drool and spit up though. They thought that was really gross. Also they learned quickly he likes hair and will grab it every chance he gets.

He looks like such a big boy in the turtle hat I got him. Adorable!!!

He cut his 3rd tooth while we were in Vegas.

We both slept most of the next day when we got home. I kept him on his sleeping schedule, but it was tricky with that 3 hour time difference. He is such a trooper! I however stayed up late watching the Olympics and visiting and got up early the whole time. So I was pretty sleep deprived by time we got home. Thanks for a great time Erica! Love you guys!
