Just chilling!
Oh how quickly our world got turned upside down. Poor Kevin's Mom has been in a rehab center since Mother's day, trying to recover from what they recently discovered was a stroke. She is trying to get strong enough to go home. Please keep her in your prayers. She has a long way to go.
My Mom was visiting with Tamara and her family in the Bahamas and got very sick, so Xander & I flew to Alabama to love on her once she got home. However, she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia instead. We spent most of the month at UAB while Mom received her induction treatment of chemotherapy. God is in control of this situation! We can see his hands at work all over it. She also needs your prayers!

The day Mom headed home, Xander and I flew home to Kevin. We were so happy to see him, but so sad to leave Mom knowing she still has such a fight ahead of her. She will have to get three more rounds of chemo before she is considered to be in remission. Praying and believing God will give her the strength to endure this battle. Love you so much Mom!
