Two songs always pop in my head when I drive through Philadelphia. Boys II Men, Motown Philly & Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song. Can you think of any others?
We have been back and forth to Philly several times since we have lived here, mostly airport runs, but we had never taken time to explore the City of Brotherly Love. That was, until our good friends Annie & Erick were passing through and we met up with them for a fun day. Annie use to live in Philly so she knew all the great spots to eat & see. We started the day off with some Yummy breakfast @ Morning Glory's. So good!
Here we are playing on the statues outside the Philadelphia Art Museum. It was a little chilly, so we had to bundle up.
We are so mature!
His triton looked a little scandalous from the back side. Lol!
Rocky Statue!
"Yo Adrian!"
Running up the museum stairs just like Rocky!
Team Riggan!
Awe!
Team Siqueria!
"Where's Xander?"
"There He Is!"
Check out these stud muffins!
Almost asleep, but doing his Rocky pose.
Cue Rocky anthem.
Yay for friends! So blessed!
They look pretty good with a baby!
Go X-Man! Eye of the Tiger!
Bubble Tea Time
Most bubble tea recipes contain a tea base mixed fruit or milk, ice-blended and tapioca pearls and you drink them with huge straws. I wasn't a big fan, but it was interesting to try. Xander wasn't going to be left out either.
Next stop was the Liberty Bell.
Cool view of Independence Hall in the background.
Team Riggan!
Annie was really good at setting the camera up to take group pictures with the self timer. Good job Annie!
We had a great time with some dear friends! By the way Xander was AMAZING! He is such a good baby!
The best cheesesteak in town, Jim's Steaks has been open for 70 years. Delicious!
After a long day in the city, Xander was so happy to be home and just happened to have a huge box of toys from my sis & nephews waiting on him when we got there. He was very excited!
His little cheeks got a little chapped from the wind. Awe! Isn't he sweet?
Xander is advertising for Out Island Explorer with his pimped out truck.
