Hurricane Sandy/ October 2012

Well, needless to say things have been crazy around here the past several weeks. Shortly after we returned from our trip from Texas, the East Coast was preparing for the worst hurricane in history. We were home for only a few days before we chose to evacuate. The day after we left, our entire township and surrounding areas were ordered to evacuate. I've got a few stories before Sandy though...

Xander is getting very good and standing and moving around as long as he is holding on to something.

Kenzie fell asleep while I was reading to her one night when we watched her so Kay and Kevin could celebrate birthdays. I just put her in Xander's crib. She's so cute!

Xander fell asleep in Kevin's arm while I was tending to Kenzie. Kevin ate this up! Awe! My sweet guys!

Kevin helping X-Man pick out his first pumpkin.

I'm glad we got a couple shots of him with his pumpkin and the mum before the storm! I love him in his lil' overalls!

Of course he tried to eat the flowers...

He spit them out pretty quickly, I don't expect they tasted very good. His breath did have a hint of mum the rest of the day though. LOL!

Our handsome boy all ready for church!

I

He loves riding in the Ergo carrier with Mommy.

This matrix move to get away from G$ was quickly followed by a loud thump! Poor baby!
I spend all my energy trying to keep him from getting hurt, but to no avail he still does.

This is how he greets me in the middle of the night or early morning. Standing and chattering and then smiling once he sees me. I sure love this boy!

Opening his box of Halloween goodies from CC.

He enjoys chomping on his Mum-Mum cookies.

Sporting his Roswell shirt from Aunt Karen.

Yummy fingers!

We discovered this crazy shotgun shell mail box on one of our walks.

Xander snuggled in his car seat!

Sandy did hit the coast and HARD. We packed up our baby, our dogs, ourselves and our mac. We were fortunate enough to find a hotel close to Philly and never lost power.  We camped out for a few days while the weather was terrible and returned home when it was safe. The destruction covered several states and left many homeless! We were very blessed to have no damage. I didn't take pictures of the devastation, I didn't feel it was appropriate. Almost everyone saw footage on tv, although that barely did it justice.

Xander & Daddy playing in the pool. Not for long though, the water was cold!

Our sweet, sweet boy!

I love this picture of my two dudes!
