Well, this was a week of anticipation. We couldn't wait for Poppy & CC to get here, but we had to wait until Friday. We spent most of the week preparing for their visit, so we managed to stay busy. I love this shot of Kevin & the dogs. They got to go visit Petsmart one day while we were shopping and needless to say they were quite a hit.
Xander tried sweet potatoes and once he got a good taste, he loved them.
I love to watch him sleep. He is so precious.

Just finished taking his bath and all ready to go to bed. He loves playing with this piano that Erica's girls gave him while we were in Vegas. The fun has already begun. He loves anything that lights up and is noisy. I'm not surprised at all! Poppy & CC will be here in the morning. Yay!
TGIF!!! Mom and Dad were so cute. They literally raced across the airport to reach Xander. I so wish Chariots of Fire had been playing at the airport. There is still a debate about who reached him first. What a great memory!
We of course had to stop by Five Guys for lunch. Poppy held Xander while CC gave him his first taste of apple sauce.
He loved it of course, but not quite as much as having his CC & Poppy here.
CC took this shot while we were sleeping. Xander likes to nap with Mommy, and I don't mind at all.

We went to lunch at Mystic Island Pizza. They say, " Pizza is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy." Yum! Poppy ordered the biggest Pizza they make and I swear it weighed about 10 lbs.

Poor Xander had so much fun with his CC & Poppy that he didn't want to miss out on anything, so he skipped his naps and crashed at like 4:30 and slept until 6:30 the next morning.
That's the hard part about living so far away from family. You try to pack so much love in to one visit, everyone ends up exhausted. Totally worth it though! XI gives some serious good cuddles by the way!

Impromptu visit to LBI. We didn't dress for pictures, but XI is so stinking cute who cares! Perfect timing, Labor Day weekend crowd was gone and a storm was rolling in the background, so the beach was empty. Perfection!

This is adorable! Lots of precious pictures. Xander eats up the camera with his sweet sweet smile :) I can't wait to get my hands on him. I hope he reaches for Aunt T before we're finished! Oh, I miss you all so much! LOTS and LOTS of love... and WAR EAGLE :)
